Despite our success, the funding from Local Authority has been reduced. We are not regularly funded by the Arts Council England and have to work hard to project fund from Trusts and Foundations every year.
We are therefore dependent on box office income, private patronage and business support to sustain our work, which we believe helps to keep Stroud and the Cotswolds in the front rank of cultural activity in the South West and make it a place where more and more people want to live and work.
I hope you will consider joining some of the many local businesses (see below) as one of our valued Business Friends, an association of local and national businesses providing sustainable and direct support to Stroud and the Cotswolds cultural life and profile.
Annual Subscription is £500, in return for which we offer the following:
- Your credit as Business Associate in the annual festival’s brochures (30,000 print planned for 2011)
- Your business and logo credit on our website
- A discount of 10% on advertising space in our festival brochure
- Invitation to the prestigious private view in May.
